My husband carries his backpack with him EVERYWHERE! Another thing you should know about my husband is that he is 1) super picky and 2) when he finds something he likes there is no turning back. Many of these items he’s had since I met him and they have proven their value for him.
First thing first, you have to have a backpack. My husband has had his backpack for two years. He’s gone through a few different options throughout but this has stayed his tried and true. They have multiple styles and color options.
ELECTRONICS
Cable Organizer // This is a compact way to have one spot for all of my cables. It’s small enough that I can always carry it with me and I’m never without a cable whenever I need it.
RAVPower Portable Charger // This is the best portable charger! I’ve had it for over two years and it’s withstood the test of time. It’s a little bulky but it’s compact. I like this one because it has a quick charger and has a USB type C. It charges my iPad two times over!
Multi Charging Cable // One cable to charge anything I need!
AirPods Pro + AirPod Case // The newest edition of the AirPods is amazing! The AirPods noise-canceling is legit, but the hassle-free pairing and user-friendly aspect is the best part. You don’t have to add any additional steps. I’m not thrilled over the silicone case, it’s just there so I don’t scratch the actual case. I’m looking to get a leather case.
iPad Pro + Keyboard Case // I use my iPad for everything – watching tv, a computer, taking notes, etc. I like the apple keyboard because I like the way the keys feel. I also like the way it sits on the stand. It’s also waterproof.
BASICS
Keysmart // I work for a school and have a variety of keys. I use this key organizer to keep them all in one place with it still being super slim and easy to conceal. It gives me quick access to all my keys. It holds 6-8 keys at a time. It’s an added bonus that everyone always thinks it’s a knife when I pull it out!
Tile Mate – Key Finder // This was a Christmas gift. I’ve already had to use it a few times and it works really well. I’ve also seen people put these on remote controls so they don’t get lost in the couch (genius!)
Card Blocr Minimalist Wallet + CardNinja Adhesive Attachment // I prefer the compact wallet because I can fit a bunch of credit cards but it doesn’t warp the wallet shape. It stays even and one size no matter how many cards I add. The CardNinja adhesive is perfect to throw an ID or cash in. I really enjoy the quick access with the lever that pushes the cards up. I’ve had it for two years and it still pops up without a problem.
Whatever Book You’re Currently Reading // I always have a book in my backpack. My favorite books are in the self-help and leadership genre. Two books I’d recommend adding to your backpack: Atomic Habits by James Clear and Leadership Pain by Samuel Chand
RedBull // My wife thinks I’m addicted to Red Bull and all I can say is thank you for all you do, Red Bull. I’m still waiting on the wings though.
Dill Pickle Sunflower Seeds // This has become my new favorite snack. Added bonus: they make me look more like a coach.
Gerber Zip Blade // This mini pocket knife attaches to the outside of your backpack for quick access and any time you need a knife real quick (ex: cut tape).
PERSONAL CARE
Medicated Chapstick // You got crusty lips like me? Don’t get the normal chapstick. Get the medicated – treat to self!
The Best Hair Gel // This is the best hair gel. That’s it.
OFFICE
Dual Drive USB // It’s a dual USB type C and USB 3.0. I like it because I can use it for both my iPad and work computer. It’s a cheaper storage alternative for the iPad as well!
Moleskine Bullet Journal // I like bullet journaling because it’s the easiest way to collect my thoughts, to-do lists, etc. Moleskines are the best because you can customize it to be whatever you want.
Paper Mate Flair Tip Pens // They are the best pen for an in-between of a gel pen and a sharpie. And they don’t bleed! AND you don’t have to be gentle with them when you write.
A Pen You Don’t Mind Letting Someone Borrow (Because You Probably Won’t Get it Back)
Nice, he’s got a lot of handy things there! You don’t see these kinds of posts often so this was cool to see and read about!
Looks like he has all the essentials! That’s so awesome all of this fits in his backpack!!

cute & little
Red bull is also my husbands favorite go-to. He cant go a day without one.
AirPods and a portable charger are a must! I’ll have to look for the AirPods charger for my husband! He doesn’t have that yet.
I think I need to get my husband that cable organizer. He’s always losing his chargers and such in his giant backpack. This was honestly such a helpful read – especially since my hubs specifically carries a backpack .. just like your man!
