My September Praise Reports

At the end of each month, I write down 10 Praise Reports from that month. These are things I’m thanking God for from the month before. It can be big or small, work-related or marriage related, and anything in between. I love doing this because it helps me choose gratitude, reminds me to reflect, and helps me not forget the things that God is doing and get excited for what’s to come.

This past month has been SO busy with the new house, work, and school. You’ll be able to tell by reading my praise reports, they are mainly related to work or church. I am loving this new season and learning a LOT. I am really having to lean into the promises of God and trust that He will once again, prove Himself faithful.

1 // We moved into our permanent building for Vibrant Church!

We have our GRAND OPENING this weekend and YOU are invited. If you live in the Northern Fort Worth/Saginaw area, come hang out with us. We are going to have giveaways, snowcones, and Jesus!

2 // We had our Night for Freedom Gala with Rescue Her!

It was an amazing event and reminded me why I love my job so much, it’s about the people. It’s about HER story.

3 // We had North Texas Giving Day and Rescue Her won a prize for the most BRAND NEW donors and we received a bonus check!

God has proven Himself so faithful throughout this season here at Rescue Her. I am learning so much about trusting God, even with the little and He will bless the mess out of you if you allow Him to.

4 // Fall officially started! Hallelujah and Amen!

5 // We started hosting our Students Group at Vibrant Church!

Brad and I have such a heart for students and it was so refreshing to get back into hanging out with them, pouring into their lives, and crushing them at board games!

6 // We had volunteer orientation for Rescue Her and had 50 NEW volunteers attend!

I am over all of our volunteers so this was so amazing. I love seeing people who are passionate for a cause get involved with organizations that are already existing!

7 // I have felt so refreshed when it comes to blogging and creating content.

If I’m being honest, I was in a real funk over the past couple of months and I felt defeated, exhausted, and doubtful when it came to this blog. Over the past month, I’ve felt so re-energized and creative and I can’t wait to share with you over these next couple of months what’s been on my mind.

8 // I got to spend time with my SQUAD in Denton.

I miss my best friends so much and we only really get to see each other on birthdays because trying to match everyone’s schedules is impossible. It was so much fun and I am praying for the days we get to do it more often.

9 // My husband preached this month and it was SO GOOD!

I love cheering him on and getting to watch God use him. It’s so beautiful when you know someone better than anyone else and you get to watch God work in their life. I could write about this for days, but overall I’m just really proud of him and honored to call myself his wife.

10 // There were some AMAZING new worship albums that came out in September!

Make sure you follow me on Instagram, I’ll be sharing some in my stories. Let me know if you’d like me to make a playlist with all of my favorite songs for you to listen to!

  1. Sounds like a great September! That’s wonderful that you feel refreshed and creative for blogging again. I know how it can be tough when you get into one of those funks.

  2. I love the idea of keeping track of things toy are thankful for in a month. I am really enjoying the start of fall this year too. Congratulations on moving into a new. permanent building for your church-such an accomplishment!
